What is listed for Atlur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Boxer Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Boxer Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Atlur?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Boxer Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Atlur without much drama.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Boxer Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Boxer Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
humid coastal, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Boxer Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What you will pay
Expect ₹26,995 upward, to around ₹26,995. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Boxer in Atlur: local climate
Atlur is hottest in April, averaging 42°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Boxer needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in October.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 40 | 42 | 40 | 36 | 34 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 17 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 28 | 25 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 22 | 20 | 18 |
| Rain mm | 6 | 3 | 11 | 21 | 55 | 67 | 86 | 95 | 130 | 142 | 103 | 29 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
