What is listed for Alur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Yorkshire Terrier Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Alur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a tiny dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Yorkshire Terrier Puppy.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Yorkshire Terrier Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a tiny dog notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Yorkshire Terrier Puppy will barely register the change.
Is a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy a sensible choice for you in Alur?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Yorkshire Terrier Puppy placements in Alur than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Yorkshire Terrier Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹53,803 to ₹53,803 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Yorkshire Terrier in Alur: local climate
Alur is hottest in April, averaging 39°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Yorkshire Terrier needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Yorkshire Terrier puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 39 | 38 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 17 | 21 | 25 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 2 | 14 | 23 | 61 | 84 | 96 | 102 | 147 | 87 | 22 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Yorkshire Terrier Puppy
Your week with a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Yorkshire Terrier Puppy comes home.
