What a Shih Tzu costs in Alluri Sitharama Raju

Between ₹24,271 and ₹24,271 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Shih Tzu costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Shih Tzu reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Alluri Sitharama Raju?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Alluri Sitharama Raju apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,271 upward, to around ₹24,271. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
