We place across Morthad and the wider Telangana region. If a large cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
What a Ragdoll Kittens costs in Morthad
Expect ₹32,074 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Ragdoll Kittens reads consistency as safety, and a settled cat learns faster.
Feeding a large cat without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the cat lobbies. A Ragdoll Kittens that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 12 to 15+ Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A friendly Ragdoll Kittens that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 12 to 15+ Years is easier.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
mild tropical plateau, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the cat dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large cat entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
What you will pay
Expect ₹32,074 upward, to around ₹32,074. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12 to 15+ Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Ragdoll in Morthad: local climate
Morthad is hottest in May, averaging 43°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Ragdoll needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: a cool room with the curtains drawn in the afternoon, a tiled floor to lie on, and fresh water in more than one place.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Ragdoll kitten, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 38 | 41 | 43 | 35 | 31 | 29 | 29 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 14 | 17 | 22 | 26 | 29 | 26 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 20 | 16 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 10 | 7 | 18 | 15 | 19 | 137 | 237 | 223 | 155 | 63 | 10 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Ragdoll Kittens
Your week with a Ragdoll Kittens, reduced to what actually matters.

- Damp: dry the cat properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Ragdoll Kittens comes home.
