We place across Alwal and the wider Telangana region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A sweet & calm Himalayan Kittens that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What a Himalayan Kittens costs in Alwal
Expect ₹28,881 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A sweet & calm Himalayan Kittens is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a medium Himalayan Kittens to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the cat already has one place it considers its own.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Himalayan Kittens; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Himalayan Kittens price, and the cost after it
₹28,881 to ₹28,881 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Himalayan Kittens without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Himalayan Kittens is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium cat moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Himalayan in Alwal: local climate
Alwal is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Himalayan needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: a cool room with the curtains drawn in the afternoon, a tiled floor to lie on, and fresh water in more than one place.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in September. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Himalayan kitten, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 18 | 21 | 25 | 27 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 3 | 17 | 25 | 43 | 100 | 134 | 143 | 156 | 89 | 16 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Himalayan Kittens
A practical checklist for a medium cat in a Alwal flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a sweet & calm breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
