What is listed for Somvarpet is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different cat that fits your schedule than sell you the Himalayan Kittens you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Himalayan Kittens names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented cat from an undocumented one.
Weather, coat and the Karnataka year
the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Himalayan Kittens that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What a Himalayan Kittens costs in Somvarpet
Between ₹28,881 and ₹28,881 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the cat is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Himalayan Kittens costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Himalayan Kittens arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Is a Himalayan Kittens a sensible choice for you in Somvarpet?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Himalayan Kittens placements in Somvarpet than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Himalayan Kittens price, and the cost after it
₹28,881 to ₹28,881 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Himalayan Kittens without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Himalayan in Somvarpet: local climate
The city sits at about 1,133 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.
Summers here are mild, peaking at about 31°C in March, so heat is rarely the problem for a Himalayan that it is on the plains.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 12°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Himalayan kitten, the easiest months to arrive are November to April: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 26 | 29 | 31 | 30 | 26 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 22 | 23 | 23 | 23 |
| Low °C | 12 | 14 | 16 | 18 | 18 | 18 | 17 | 17 | 16 | 16 | 15 | 13 |
| Rain mm | 2 | 5 | 22 | 64 | 188 | 697 | 759 | 569 | 335 | 226 | 90 | 16 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
