Buy Himalayan Kittens in Saligrama, Karnataka
We place across Saligrama and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium cat, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Himalayan Kittens are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Himalayan Kittens; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Himalayan Kittens arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
What a Himalayan Kittens costs in Saligrama
Expect ₹28,881 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Weather, coat and the Karnataka year
pleasant semi-tropical, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the cat dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Himalayan Kittens price, and the cost after it
₹28,881 to ₹28,881 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Himalayan Kittens without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Himalayan in Saligrama: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Himalayan, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Himalayan kitten, the easiest months to arrive are November to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 32 | 34 | 34 | 31 | 27 | 25 | 25 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 26 |
| Low °C | 14 | 16 | 19 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 19 | 19 | 19 | 18 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 2 | 5 | 21 | 60 | 136 | 309 | 360 | 274 | 201 | 151 | 63 | 13 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
