We place across RT Nagar and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Persian is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Persian.

Is a Persian a sensible choice for you in RT Nagar?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium cat in a RT Nagar apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Feeding a medium cat without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the cat lobbies. A Persian that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

What a Persian costs in RT Nagar

Between ₹15,000 and ₹45,000 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the cat is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Persian costs more up front and less in the first months.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the cat dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Persian price, and the cost after it

₹15,000 to ₹45,000 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Persian without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
