We place across Laxmeshwar and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Persian comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Laxmeshwar flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Is a Persian a sensible choice for you in Laxmeshwar?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium cat in a Laxmeshwar apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Persian is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.

Feeding a medium cat without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the cat lobbies. A Persian that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Persian names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented cat from an undocumented one.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Persian.

What you will pay

Expect ₹15,000 upward, to around ₹45,000. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
