We place across JP Nagar and the wider Karnataka region. If a small cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Scottish Fold comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a JP Nagar flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Scottish Fold.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small cat notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Scottish Fold will barely register the change.

What a Scottish Fold costs in JP Nagar

Expect ₹79,789 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Feeding a small cat without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Scottish Fold arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹79,789 upward, to around ₹79,789. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
