Buy Persian in Hulimavu, Karnataka
We place across Hulimavu and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Persian names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented cat from an undocumented one.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Persian.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Persian arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
What a Persian costs in Hulimavu
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Persian without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Is a Persian a sensible choice for you in Hulimavu?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Persian will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Hulimavu without much drama.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
What you will pay
Expect ₹15,000 upward, to around ₹45,000. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Persian Characteristics
Care Tips for Persian
A practical checklist for a medium cat in a Hulimavu flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
