What is listed for Cantonment is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different cat that fits your schedule than sell you the Persian you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Persian that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium cat notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Persian will barely register the change.

What a Persian costs in Cantonment

The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Persian without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a medium Persian to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the cat already has one place it considers its own.

Is a Persian a sensible choice for you in Cantonment?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Persian placements in Cantonment than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Persian is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.

Persian price, and the cost after it

₹15,000 to ₹45,000 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Persian without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
