Buy Himalayan Kittens in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Prakasam and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the cat lobbies. A Himalayan Kittens that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Is a Himalayan Kittens a sensible choice for you in Prakasam?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a sweet & calm Himalayan Kittens will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Prakasam without much drama.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Himalayan Kittens arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium cat notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Himalayan Kittens will barely register the change.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Himalayan Kittens; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A sweet & calm Himalayan Kittens that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What you will pay
Expect ₹28,881 upward, to around ₹28,881. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Himalayan in Prakasam: local climate
Summer here peaks in May at about 38°C. That is manageable for a Himalayan, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 20°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
Most of the year's rain falls in October. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Himalayan kitten, the easiest months to arrive are December to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 31 | 34 | 36 | 38 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 29 | 28 |
| Low °C | 20 | 21 | 24 | 26 | 28 | 28 | 26 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 22 | 21 |
| Rain mm | 9 | 6 | 8 | 17 | 42 | 74 | 109 | 124 | 136 | 191 | 122 | 33 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
