We place across Devanakonda and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium cat does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Bombay Kittens.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Bombay Kittens arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
What a Bombay Kittens costs in Devanakonda
The purchase is the small number. Over 12-20 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Bombay Kittens without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium cat notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Bombay Kittens will barely register the change.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a medium cat moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Bombay Kittens price, and the cost after it
₹31,901 to ₹31,901 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Bombay Kittens without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Bombay Kittens is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium cat moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Bombay in Devanakonda: local climate
Devanakonda is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Bombay needs real protection from that: a cool room with the curtains drawn in the afternoon, a tiled floor to lie on, and fresh water in more than one place.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Bombay kitten, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 39 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 21 | 25 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 2 | 14 | 23 | 61 | 84 | 96 | 102 | 147 | 87 | 22 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
